Job Description:

• Operate and maintain coffee roasting machines to ensure consistent roast profiles and flavor quality.
• Monitor roast curves, temperature, and time for each batch to maintain precision and consistency.
• Source, inspect, and grade green coffee beans before roasting.
• Maintain detailed records of each roast batch, including bean origin, roast level, and cupping results.
• Conduct cupping sessions to evaluate roast quality and adjust profiles when needed.
• Manage inventory of green and roasted beans, ensuring optimal stock rotation (FIFO).
• Oversee daily production in a small warehouse setting, ensuring efficiency and safety standards.
• Clean and maintain roasting equipment, grinders, and ventilation systems regularly.
• Collaborate with management on new blends, seasonal offerings, and packaging adjustments.
• Support small-batch fulfillment, labeling, and occasional customer tastings or demonstrations.
